Kennedy on Campus

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke to a standing-room-only crowd in Agnes Flanagan Chapel on September 22. Kennedy detailed the environmental and political implications of the Bush administration’s environmental rollbacks of laws that have protected the nation’s air, water, public lands, and wildlife for nearly 30 years. “This isn’t an esoteric fight to protect the birds and the fishes,” said Kennedy. “We’re fighting to preserve nature because it’s the infrastructure of our community.”
