Associate Coordinator: Jacqueline Abbott
The Eating Disorders Program provides participants with a comprehensive background of knowledge. An 8-semester-hour curriculum consisting of four courses, the program is designed primarily for mental health practitioners, nutritionists and medical personnel working in the field, but is open to all students. Those participants holding a master’s degree or doctoral degree in nutrition, exercise physiology, health, behavioral science, or medicine may complete a practicum experience and apply for Certified Eating Disorders Specialist in Nutrition (CEDN) or Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CDES) certification from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP). Ecopsychology Studies provides an opportunity for Lewis & Clark and Continuing Studies students to concentrate in practice, scholarship or research focused on the relationship between mental health and environmental and sustainability issues.
