Men’s Resource Center seeks a part-time counselor, to facilitate 3 groups on 2 evenings, at offices in SE Portland and Oregon City (co-facilitate groups in dual-focus substance abuse & domestic violence program, and facilitate a drug & alcohol treatment group). This position could expand as programs grow. Requirements: CADC or licensure; experience in substance abuse treatment. Ideally experience in domestic violence intervention. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.

Mental Health and Family Services has a contract position (2-3 hrs. per week) for a male group facilitator for a domestic violence group (90 min. group specifically for batterers). Experience &/or training in domestic violence work with offenders is preferred, but will consider applicants with backgrounds in addictions, criminal thinking, deliquency, sex offenders. Position requires regular contact with probation officers &/or attorneys. Ideally applicants are organized, energetic, have good writing skills, work well in team environments, and are knowledgeable re: cognitive-behavioral interventions & motivational interviewing.
