Testing Resources

Praxis Series: This site includes information on the Praxis I and Praxis II tests including the PPST, Computer-Based Tests and Subject Area Tests. The ETS offices can also be reached at (609)771-7395.

Recipient and agency codes for the PRAXIS are:

  • NASP, for School Psychologists: R1549
  • Oregon Educator License Assessments (ORELA): This site includes registration and test information for the Multiple Subjects Examination (MSE). Subtests 1 and 2 of the ORELA: MSE are required of Oregon student teachers.

  • CBEST Exam: This site includes registration and test information for the CBEST Exam. You can also reach their offices by calling (916)928-4001.

    WEST-B Exam: This site includes registration and test information for the Washington Educator Skills Test-Basic or WEST-B. You can also reach their office by calling (800)784-4999.

    Mental Health Counselor and Therapist Licensing and Certification

    Licensing and certification information for mental health counselors and for therapists is available through the Counseling Psychology Career and Professional Resources office (CPSY CPR).     NB: As of February 2008, a valid first aid card is no longer required for Oregon licensure.
