Steven Kallick '83 is a program officer for the Pew Charitable Trusts in Philadelphia, where he is responsible for forest programs and manages a portfolio of two dozen grants in the United States and Canada worth $15 million. Prior to joining Pew Charitable Trusts, Steven was campaign director for the Alaska Rainforest Campaign in Anchorage, where he led a coalition campaign made up of national, state and local conservation groups to protect the Alaskan coastal rainforest from logging. From 1985 to 1990, he served as a staff attorney for the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council in Juneau, where he specialized in forest planning and National Environmental Policy Act litigation involving the Tongass and Chugach national forests.
