Jason Simms - Recipient of the 2005 Dixon Award

Jason's project is entitled "Visions of Dickinson." He plans on using the award to conduct research in Massachusetts at the Dickinson Homestead, the Houghton Library at Harvard, and the Frost Library at Amherst College. Please join us in offering our sincere congratulations to Jason.
The Dixon Award, a $2000.00 award set-up to help fund extracurricular educational experiences to enhance a student's field of study, was established by the Dixon Family Foundation through the efforts of two alumni, Hillary and Adam Dixon. It was first awarded in 2003 to Ariel Holman, in 2004 to Stasia Honnold and will continue to be given to one junior English major each year until 2007.
The Department was impressed with this year's applications and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the students who participated.
