Exploration and Discovery Registration

Students have the opportunity to indicate preferences for their Exploration and Discovery sections. When making selections, students should take an active role and use the E&D website ("Faculty") to review the faculty teaching E&D, including their academic backgrounds, disciplines, and research interests.

Although every effort will be made to honor students' section preferences, we cannot guarantee that all students will be assigned to one of their preferred selections. This is due to several factors:

* All sections are limited to nineteen students.

* Varsity athletes are encouraged to select morning sections to avoid conflict with practices and game schedules.

* Preferences are prioritized by factors other then just by the date they are received.

*Students selecting Kristi Williams' section must also elect to participate in the Living Learning Community Program. The Living Learning Community Program is filled and is no longer an available option.

It is important for students to note:

* Students who do not request a particular section, or whose forms are received after the due date, will be assigned to a section on a space-available basis.

*Class times are 1:50-2:50pm (with the exception of 5-morning sections) and are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

*Several faculty members teach multiple sections; therefore it is important to note the time of the class you are selecting.

Students will be given the opportunity to select preferences, using the same format, for the Spring Semester during spring registration.
