Welcome! At Lewis & Clark, we strive to be good stewards of the funds you invest in the College. Please use the tools here to understand the giving process and to know what to look for in the mail.

Before you make your gift

Bravo! You have chosen to support your philanthropic interests at Lewis & Clark. Here are some resources to give you a few options before you send in your gift.

Giving Societies: Choose at which level you'd like to make your gift. For graduates of the last decade, the "entry levels" to these societies have been lowered. Some levels offer the benefit of invitations to very special events on campus with the president.

Matching Gift Programs: Did you know that your employer can double or triple your gift? Check out our search engine of over 1,600 employers and parent companies that offer matching gifts. You can even download your company's form and mail it to us with your gift; we take care of the rest!

After you make your gift

Thank you! Now that you've made your gift, here is what you can expect to receive from us:

(1) A prompt tax receipt and thank you letter. Please retain the tax receipt for your records. If you lose it, we'd be happy to print you another one.

(2) The Report on Giving (mailed in December) describing the impact of your - and others' - gifts during the previous fiscal year. You may also visit the archive of past annual reports.

(3) Your name recognized in the Honor Roll of Donors (mailed with the Report on Giving in December).

(4) A thank you postcard from a student (mailed in June).

Your Gift in Action: So much is possible with your gift. Take a look at a few examples of the good your gift can bring to the College and our students.

Donor Bill of Rights: Endorsed by Lewis & Clark and numerous fundraising councils and organizations, this is a list of your rights as a donor. We strive to make your giving experience as rewarding as possible.

Upcoming Events: Don't wait for the Annual Report! Know what's happening on campus and hear it directly from the president at these special donor events.

Phonathon: Even if you've already made your gift, feel free to answer the phone when our student callers contact you. Our callers are eager to share with you the pulse of today's campus.
