Spear phishing is on the rise!

Spear phishing is a targeted email that claims to be from a legitimate source. The sources chosen are very believable and can be anything from L&C's Information Technology department, your bank, even the IRS.

Please DO NOT respond to any emails asking for personally identifying, account, or password information. Information Technology and any other reputable company will NEVER ask for this information.

Please DO NOT respond to any emails even if it is to tell them to leave you alone.

If you feel you have received an email that is suspicious, please DO NOT respond to the email but instead forward it to infosec@lclark.edu.
