TCK World: a website that is home to many programs, such as Operation Footlocker and Schools Without Walls. A great resource to find out more about the history of the term "TCK" and find out about how they are connected globally.
Global Nomads International: a non-profit organization that exists to promote opportunities for global nomads of all ages and nationalities to explore the lifelong impact of their internationally-mobile childhood, and to affirm and act on their unique international experience for their own enrichment and that of the larger world community.
Global Nomads Virtual Village: an internet-based, non-profit organization that provides TCKs/Global Nomads a permanent place to "keep in touch." A repository for global nomad related information and resources.
Military Brats On Line: Military Brats Online was created to connect U.S. military brats with people and places which have shaped their lives. This web site is for anyone who is a U.S military "brat".
Missionary Kids (MK) Connection: a collection of information for TCKs.
Aramco-brats.com: a web site for former students of Aramco schools in Saudi Arabia.
Mu Kappa International: A nationwide organization for Missionary Kids at the college level.
BBC World News: One of the best sources for world news - British based.
The New York Times: The world's most-read and trusted paper. Have to register (free) for archive articles, but not for today's issue.
Al-Jazeera English Edition: Controversial, but presents an interesting side of world issues.
Al-Hewar Magazine and the Arab-American Dialogue: "The voice of the Arab community in the United States. Featuring well-written and insightful articles exploring American and Arab polictics, culture and religion."
International Newspapers: A very extensive listing of foreign newspapers on the web, by country, region, continent, and topic. Great resource.
the Economist: One of the best news sources - extensive, understandable, objective, and well-researched. Also avaliable through the LC library in hard copy and via the research databases.

Portland International Airport: Information on arrivals and departures from PDX. Schedules as they appear on the airport screens.
World Hotel Directory: Information on hotels around the world, connections to a travel agent, etc. Includes an international database of hotels with over 200,000 entries.
Altapedia Online: A great source of information on countries all around the world.
List of Online Dictionaries: An incredible list of online dictionary resources. Includes over 60 different languages and offers translation, thesaurus, and definitional dictionaries, as well as acronym and slang dictionaries. VERY cool!
