Public Interest Law Project Auction

PILP, a law school student organization, hosts an annual fund-raising auction to finance its summer stipend program. The program provides funding to enable students to take summer jobs with public interest organizations that do not traditionally have the resources to hire summer clerks.

"Realizing the Ideal" - The 14th Annual PILP Auction

Alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the Law School gathered together on Friday, February 20, 2004 with the common goal of raising money to fund summer public interest stipends. The 14th Annual Public Interest Law Project auction, "Realizing the Ideal," was a rousing success.

The proceeds of the auction will fund PILP's summer stipend program, and some of the proceeds will go to Lewis & Clark's Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP), which awards grants to recent graduates working in public interest law to help them pay back student loans.

The auction featured trips to Las Vegas, Cabo San Lucas and New York City, a weekend of skiing, Trail Blazers tickets, and various dinners and activities with Law School professors and staff, who continue to support the auction year after year.

The auction was co-chaired by law students Parna Mehrbani & Andrea Poole. PILP thanks you for your support and hopes to see you at next year's auction.
