Clinical Internship Seminar: Environmental/Natural Resources

The Environmental and Natural Resources Internship Seminar provides students an opportunity to participate in the practice of environmental law in an area of their choosing. Students are placed in legal settings approved by the instructor, who meets weekly with the students to discuss selected issues and materials related to the placements. Students are expected to work in their placements at least 10 hours per week and to develop a written product of at least moderate complexity and length during the internship experience. Prerequisites and certification may be required in the instructors' discretion.

This is a 3 credit course graded in a credit/no credit basis. Applicants for this class are screened through a short interview process in the fall. Actual placements will be decided at that time.

Students shall not be compensated for work performed in connection with a CIS placement.
