We invite you to participate in our 2008-2009 Fall On-Campus Interview Program. This year the Law School's on-campus recruiting period will be from September 10 through October 11, 2008 for employers who wish to interview students for law clerk and attorney positions.
As you may know, our students’ credentials rank us in the top quartile of all ABA accredited law schools in the country. The 700+ students attending the Law School represent a wide spectrum of experiences, ages, walks of life, cultures and race. Many of our students have advanced degrees, including those in engineering, science and the social sciences. 50% of the Law School`s 2007 entering class were women; approximately 22% were minorities, not including international students; and over 69% come from outside the state with 39 states and 129 undergraduate colleges represented. The Law School's Business Law program has received national attention and has been featured in the National Law Journal, the Wall Street Journal and The Oregon Business Journal. The law review Environmental Law was the first in the nation to focus on environmental and natural resources issues, and continues to receive widespread recognition. Our environmental program continues to be top-ranked.
Here's how to register:
On Campus Interviews: You may complete your registration on-line; or if you prefer, you may download the On-Campus Registration Form and NALP Questionnaire and fax, email, or mail your completed registration to Vicki Nelson with your firm's website and/or other descriptive information. Additionally, you may call Vicki at 503/768-6699 to reserve your interview date prior to sending in your completed reservation forms. We encourage employers to register by June 15, 2008 to guarantee a specific date; although we will try to accommodate employers that register later.
Recruit by Mail: If you cannot participate in our on-campus interviews, we encourage you to recruit by mail. Recruit by Mail on-line registration is available; or if you prefer, please fill out the Recruit by Mail Registration Form and NALP Questionnaire and fax, email or mail your completed registration to Vicki Nelson with your firm's resume and/or other descriptive information.
In addition to OCI, you can always post jobs for our students and alumni on our on-line job posting form. You can access it through our Employer Web Page - www.lclark.edu/dept/lscs/employers.html, which has useful information about our students and graduates as well as other services we provide for all of our employers.
