Hong Chou

Hong Chou received a Bachelor of Music from Lewis & Clark College and a Master of Music from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. She has taught at the Cincinnati Conservatory and the Houston Music Institute. Hong Chou teaches both traditional and Suzuki methods of violin instruction. She continues to be a soloist and chamber musician performing solo performances in the Unites States, China and Macao. She currently teaches at the International Summer String Music Camp in China, the Portland Community Music Center as well as maintaing a home studio. She is a member of the American String Teachers Association and the Suzuki Association of America. Hong Chou was also a former member of the Albany Symphony and Corpus Christi Symphony.
