Color for the Web

The official colors of Lewis & Clark are orange and black. Public Affairs and Communications uses and recommends the following hexadecimal versions of those colors for Web display:

Black #000000

Our orange is appropriate for use as a text color or link rollover color on many backgrounds. However, we do not recommend that you use it for large areas, such as the background of a page, as it tends to be overwhelming.
