Nondiscrimination Statement
Most projects that call for Lewis & Clark's nondiscrimination statement are produced through the Office of Public Affairs and Communications. These include, but are not limited to, communications about admissions, housing, student support services, and financial aid.
On occasion, you may have cause to add the policy statement to projects you produce through other channels. We strongly recommend that you include the statement in any communications regarding employment; consult the Office of Human Resources for information. We also suggest that you consider adding the statement to any communications related to the issues addressed by a nondiscrimination policy.
Complete version of the statement (preferred):
Lewis & Clark adheres to a nondiscriminatory policy with respect to employment, enrollment, and program. Lewis & Clark does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, age, handicap or disability, sexual orientation, or marital status and has a firm commitment to promote the letter and spirit of all equal opportunity and civil rights laws.
If you have limited space, you may use the short version:
Lewis & Clark follows the letter and spirit of all equal opportunity and civil rights laws.
