What We Do

In collaboration with staff and faculty, we cultivate Lewis & Clark's public identity to best position the institution for long-term success. The scope of our work is guided by recent institutional planning efforts and the mandate of Executive Council.

We lead strategic communications research and planning to distinguish Lewis & Clark in the competitive higher education marketplace and to engage selected external audiences. Through marketing, publications, new media, and public relations efforts, we work to increase awareness of, goodwill toward, and engagement with Lewis & Clark on the part of prospective students, parents, alumni, potential and current donors, and public influencers (?).

We also provide guidelines and consultation to empower members of the campus community to produce their own effective communications about the institution and its endeavors.
