Balmer honored as extraordinary educator
More than 500 Bonneville Power Administration employees honored Donald Balmer, U. G. Dubach Professor Emeritus of Political Science, as an extraordinary educator at a special ceremony on May 22.
The award recognizes his "contribution to educating and to providing invaluable learning experiences and insights to BPA employees regarding Northwest political issues and policymaking through the Balmer Series."
Over the past decade, more than 200 BPA middle management employees have participated in Balmer’s seminars. Participants have met in Oregon, Washington, California, Washington, D.C., and Canada to discuss energy issues with legislators, lobbyists, journalists, industry leaders, and federal and state administrators. |
