FALL 2008 GUIDE TO REGISTRATION
Advising Period: March 13 - April 4
Note: First year students may register only for 100 level courses and those 200 level courses open to first year students (indicated with F# in the section number).
Round I: April 7, 8 & 9 Students will register for one course (must be 3 or more credits), plus zero credit co-requisite courses (labs, discussions, etc.). Online registration will be available to students from their Round I registration appointment until 3:00 p.m. the next day. April 7: First year studentsApril 8: Third year students (and fourth year students who will graduate next year)April 9: Second year students
Round II: April 14, 15 & 16 Students will register for their remaining courses (up to 19 credits) April 14: First year studentsApril 15: Third year students(and fourth year students who will graduate next year)April 16: Second year students
Last Day of Online Registration: August 22 Students will be able to register and/or make changes online until Friday, August 22.
ALL students, currently attending class on campus, MUST meet with their advisors during the Advising Period and MUST have advisor approval submitted to the Registrar's Office in order to be eligible to register for fall courses. Note: If you plan to enroll part time (less that 12 credits) you must notify the Registrar's Office.
PREREQUISITES MET WITH TRANSFER CREDIT? Email the course, title and college to reg@lclark.edu. Official documentation of the coursework must be on file in the Registrar's Office. If we receive your notification before your registration appointment, you will be able to register for this course online.
PREREQUISITE SUBSTITUTE OR CONSENT NEEDED TO REGISTER FOR A COURSE Contact the instructor of the course. We will accept an email from the instructor or you may submit a completed Prerequisite Substitute/Consent form to the Registrar's Office. If we receive consent before your registration appointment, you will be able to register for this course online.
THE FOLLOWING MAY BE DONE ONLY DURING THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF THE SEMESTER (ADD/DROP PERIOD): Take a graded course as credit/no credit. Note: courses used to fulfill a gen-ed requirement may NOT be taken as credit/no credit.OVERLOAD (Register for more than 19 credits). Note: a student must have an L&C gpa of 3.0 or better and the consent of their adviser to overload. First Year students should not overload their first semester.
