Dynamic communities of learning gather daily in John R. Howard Hall, a model of sustainable design that is less building than living presence. Dedicated in tribute to the visionary who served as College president from 1960 to 1981, the building’s construction was supported by generous gifts from the following: James F. and Marion L. Miller, Meyer Memorial Trust, Estate of Barbara W. Simpson, Young Jun Kim, Ben B. Cheney Foundation, Christopher E. Jay ’72, and M. Beth Miller ’73.
