College of Arts and Sciences Campus Living Residence Halls Odell Hall

Odell_BackOdell Hall

Ruth Odell Hall houses 72 men and women on two floors in double occupancy rooms. The rooms are large and feature movable furniture, and convenient walk-in closets. Large picture windows brighten the rooms.

Odell's central location, in close proximity to classroom buildings and Templeton Student Center, makes it extremely popular with returning students.

In addition to having some of the largest residential rooms on campus, Odell is also home to the Kelly Green Main lounge, featuring the most vibrant carpeting on campus!

Odell is part of the three residence hall "cluster" SOA, which also includes Akin and Stewart Halls. As a complex of buildings, residents of all three halls get together on a weekly basis for study breaks and dance parties throughout the academic year.

Odell Hall also adjoins Stewart Hall on two levels, in a stairwell/hallway affectionately known as "The Split." The spacious rooms and the picturesque views make Odell one of the coziest halls on campus.

Take a look at a typical room layout for a DOUBLE occupancy room. You can download the page for a closer look but keep in mind, this is just a sample room. Akin, Stewart and Odell rooms are all similar in size and layout to the one shown here.

A Message from the Campus Living Coordinator:

Greetings!

As the CLC for Odell hall, I'm responsible for overseeing the daily excitement and activities that happen in the community, and for responding to any questions that you may have about life on the hill.

I'm always open to having conversations about current events, culture, music, and literature. Not to mention, the joys of life @ LC. I look forward to meeting you!
