Marisela is a native of Mexico and has lived in the States for over thirty years. She has a MA in Foreign Languages with emphasis in linguistics, and has taught at Lewis & Clark College for ten years. She previously taught language and literature at PSU, PCC Rock Creek, as well as Mt. Hood Community College.

Esperanza is a native of Spain. She came to the United States as a Spanish Language Scholar for Reed College and later received an MA in Spanish Literature and TESOL. Since then she has taught at several institutions in Oregon, including PSU, PCC, Pacific University and Lewis & Clark College.
