Tour Guide Wisdom

Welcome to the academic core of the Lewis & Clark campus. L&C offers 26 undergraduate majors, as well as graduate and law programs at the Graduate School of Education and Lewis & Clark Law School.

Here you see the Miller Center for the Humanities, Fields Center for the Visual Arts, and south wing of the Watzek Library, which houses the Ronna and Eric Hoffman Gallery of Contemporary Art. These buildings surround the Alumni Circle, which was designed to echo the cobblestone circle to the south across the Estate Gardens. The circle honors Lewis & Clark's alumni, and alumni donor names are inscribed on steps and on a plaque at the edge of the circle.
