Four Lewis & Clark music students participated in a highly selective intercollegiate band, representing nearly 100 of the strongest college band musicians from throughout the Western and Northwestern regions.

Anne Koenning ’12, Rueben Lange ’12, Emily Nelson ’10, and Steven Skolnik ’13 traveled to Reno, Nev., March 10-12 to participate in the intercollegiate band, which was convened during the College Band Directors National Association Division Conference.

The Western/Northwestern Intercollegiate Band annually selects top candidates from a pool of hundreds of applicants from more than 60 colleges and universities.
