Lewis & Clark harp students will present their recital on Sunday, April 26th at 12:00 pm in Evans Auditorium. This event is FREE and open to the public.

It is our pleasure to invite you to the Festival of Scholars, an opportunity for student-scholars and artists to present their research and art, while also learning from one another.
McLane Harrington presents her senior flute recital, “Every Passing Moment” on April 11th at 7:30pm in the Agnes Flanagan Chapel. McLane will be sharing some of her favorite romantic, modern, and baroque pieces of music for flute, including works by J.S. Bach, Carl Reinecke, Darius Milhaud, and more. The recital will feature Carol Biel, Yoko Greeney, Coco Bender, Loren Naldoza, Anna Epstein, Maria Boyer, and Alan Hermanns alongside McLane. This concert is FREE and open to the public. Senior music major Louis Umbarger presents his senior degree recital, “Joyful Noise,” on April 5, 2015 at 7:00 pm in Evans Auditorium. This recital features Umbarger’s original music combined with a look at 20th-century noisemaking, and the abstraction of musical notation. This concert is FREE and open to the public. Senior music major and classical guitarist Chris Stevens presents his senior degree recital, “Roads of Harmony,” on April 3, 2015 at 7:30pm in Agnes Flanagan Chapel. The concert will feature solo compositions by Villa-Lobos, Barrios and J.S. Bach, as well as two songs performed with Guest Soprano Gail D’Aloisio. Join us as he explores the capacities of this beautiful and soft-spoken instrument.This concert is FREE and open to the public. This event is live streamed, watch it LIVE.
The history department invites currently enrolled undergraduate Lewis & Clark students to a special professional development workshop with Senior Research Analyst Kate Doyle, aimed at students interested in careers in human rights, international affairs, and policy work in Washington, DC. Breakfast is included. Space is limited so RSVP now to reserve your spot. This event is co-sponsored by the departments of SOAN, International Affairs, Latin American Studies, and funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Indigenous in the City: The Politics of Urban Mapuche Identity in Chile presented by Assistant Professor of Sociology SARAH WARREN.

After graduating from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1981, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Environmental Law Review, Mr. Schiliro went on to spend three decades grappling with policy and politics on Capitol Hill.
