Watzek Library Soviet Film Series

The Aubrey Watzek Library at Lewis & Clark presents three screenings of Soviet films. Each film will be preceded by an introduction placing it within a broader Soviet context and followed by discussion. All films will be shown at 7 p.m. in Miller Center for the Humanities, Room 105.

  • Jan. 28—Wings (1966) Director: Larisa Shepitko
  • Feb. 25—Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors (1964) Director: Servei Parajanov
  • Apr. 1—Come and See (1985) Director: Elem Klimov
