Computer Training Workshops
We aim to offer you our most popular workshops at a variety of times. The following workshops are available to staff, faculty and currently enrolled students. Alumni may enroll for classes on a space-available basis. Workshop descriptions are available by clicking on the title in the schedule. Pre-enrollment is required for all sessions.

Introduction to Photoshop (2-part)
Create high-impact images on your computer. Edit and enhance images for your Web pages. Learn to use the current version of the most popular image editing software package on the market today.
Managing Your LCgroup
Powered by Google, LCgroups brings new features and functionality to managing a listserv on campus. Learn how to manage your group members and the other options you have as a Google Group owner.
Screencasting
Whether you’re showing students how to log in to WebAdvisor or demonstrating the correct citation format in Word, screencasts can be far more effective than handouts. In this workshop we’ll look at some of the available options and create some easy screencasts.
Using Social Media at L&C
Interested in using Facebook, Twitter, or other social media in your department? Learn the basics of social media policies and procedures at Lewis & Clark as well as a general understanding of social media culture.
BY REQUEST CLASSES
As always, if you assemble five or more people who are interested in a class on a specific topic (using our supported software) and we will present the class. It’s that easy. Of course, we will have to work together for the date and time. Contact us for more information or to make arrangements.
