Equipment Rental

checkout windowThe Service Desk loans equipment at its equipment checkout window by reservation, or on a first come first served basis. Academic instructional support always takes priority over other uses. Please call 503-768-7225 to reserve equipment and schedule a pickup and return time. You may also request equipment by sending an e-mail to itservice@lclark.edu.

During the academic year, our equipment checkout window is open Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

During the summer, our equipment checkout window is open 9:00 AM-1:00 PM Monday through Friday. Classroom equipment delivery and setup service is by appointment.

Reserve equipment as far in advance as possible, especially for high demand items like our camcorders. Our standard loan period is Monday through Thursday noon, or Thursday through Monday noon; however, if you need something longer, we may be able to extend the loan period for you.

Failure to return equipment on time is likely to deprive other clients of its use, and will result in an immediate fine of $10 per calendar day. Borrowing privileges are revoked after the third late return.

    Users running Mac OS 10.10 “Yosemite” cannot currently connect to LC Secure. Users who have already upgraded are encouraged to connect to LC Wireless via Guest Access as a temporary workaround until an XpressConnect update is available.
