Mr. Alan R. Merkle

Alan Merkle practices at the Seattle firm of Stoel Rives, primarily in the areas of construction and design law, government contracts and utility matters. He represents owners, engineers, architects, contractors and suppliers in a wide array of business matters. He received a B.A. in mechanical engineering in 1969 from Boise State University, M.B.A. in 1971 from the University of Idaho, and his J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1982. He has a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources law and also served as associate editor of Environmental Law.
