Initiatives
PEAC targets projects that maximize environmental benefit, whether precedent-setting litigation with national impact or administrative actions affecting regional environmental health.
Pacific Vistas intends to clear up regional haze obstructing views in the Pacific NW coming from the worst polluters in the region (7 in OR, 9 in WA) that were exempted from Clean Air Act requirements in the 1970's.
Oregon Waters intends to reinvigorate the 100,000 miles, 62,000 lakes, and 9 estuaries comprising Oregon state waters by targeting the unlawful state and federal regulations that fail to attain and maintain water quality standards under the Clean Water Act (CWA).
Tomorrow's Advocates trains the best and brightest law students in the art of practicing environmental advocacy, through intensive clerkships, while enhancing the high-impact environmental work of PEAC.
