Professional Background

Ed Brunet, Henry J. Casey Professor of Law, is a nationally known scholar in the areas of arbitration and pre-trial procedure. He has written over 40 articles and several books. Brunet's articles have been published in the law reviews of Michigan, Duke, Cornell, Tulane, Illinois, Iowa, Cal-Davis, Virginia, Georgia and SMU.

Brunet's books have been published by Cambridge University Press, Thomson Reuters, and Lexis. Although Brunet is a committed scholar, he remains a respected teacher and has been awarded the Leo Levinson award for Excellence in Teaching three times. Brunet was a visiting Professor of Law at Emory University in 2002.
