Summer environmental law school 2009

Our Summer 2009 environmental, natural resources, and animal law program brought students from around the country to Lewis & Clark.  Each year Lewis & Clark strives to provide an outstanding lineup of five-week and two-week intensive environmental, natural resources, and animal law classes. This summer’s offerings included five-week, three-credit courses in Administrative Law and Environmental Law, and two-week, two-credit intensives including Natural Resources Law, Energy Policy and Sustainability, Wetlands Law, International Wildlife Law, Animal Rights Law, Animal Law: Legislation, Lobbying and Litigation, Native Natural Resources Law and Citizen Suits. Our unique field class, Legal Ecology: Urban Biodiversity and the Law, combined classroom instruction with field trips into the beautiful Portland metropolitan area. We also offered a full Summer Indian Law Program as well as the usual great selection of general law courses. Courses are open to law students from ABA-accredited law schools, lawyers, government and nonprofit employees and interested auditors.
