Environmental and Natural Resources Law

Externships

During an environmental externship, second- and third-year J.D. students earn a summer or a full semester of academic credit by working full time for a law firm, government agency, legislative body, or public interest organization, jointly supervised by a practitioner and a faculty member. Placement opportunities exist across the country and throughout the world. Through the practical experience gained and contacts developed during the externship, many externs receive valuable leads for postgraduate employment.peter_in_tanzania
