JOBS:
Paid: Colorado attorney seeks 3L for part-time law clerk to work remotely.
Please send recent writing sample (less than 10 pages) along with your interest
in animal law, resume and transcript. Law clerk will perform research and write
internal legal memos related to animal rights law (mostly companion animal
related but not always). Clerk will also be asked to analyze potential cases
for possible causes of action and what damages might apply. Mostly Colorado law
but will have some work related to federal statutes as well. Contact attorney at
gns@childandanimalaw.com. Stipend is $15/hour.

Volunteer: For Steve Wise/assistance on the Center for the Expansion of
Fundamental Right’s “Nonhuman Rights Project.” Preparation for complex
litigation - intended for the first time to establish a legal right for a
nonhuman animal - is in its third year. A background in statistical analysis
and/or social science research is a plus, especially if the student has a
graduate degree in this area. If you are interested in being considered for
this project, please contact Steve Wise directly at wiseboston@aol.com.
