Courage to Teach: Renewing Ourselves as Professional Educators
Date: May 6 2013 5:00pm - 6:30pm Location: Lewis & Clark Graduate Campus
Lewis & Clark Graduate Campus
Our work as teachers has never been more demanding. It’s easy to lose heart at the conditions of schools and the difficult work we engage in daily. We enter this workshop with the fundamental belief that poetry can help us reconnect our hearts to our teaching and give heart to our students as well. Using the principles of Courage to Teach®, we will focus on renewing ourselves as educators.
This workshop is part of our 2012-2013 Workshop Series.
Complimentary coffee and tea will be served.
Instructors: Andie Cunningham, M.A.T., Ruth Shagoury, Ph.D., Sherri Carreker, M.Ed.
