McKenzie River in the southern Willamette Valley National Forest
This is an exciting alternative spring break trip that focuses on philosophy and environmentalism. The theme is “Living Simply and Learning from Nature” and it is a three-night, Thoreau-inspired philosophy retreat being held along the McKenzie river at a beautiful location. It is being led by Monica Vilhauer, a LC alumna and a philosophy professor who sees philosophy as a practical and life-engaging endeavor.
More about the retreat, including an on-line registration form, is available at: http://www.curioussoulphilosophy.com/spring-2016.html
