2010 Staff Class: “Manage Conflict? Really?!”
Date: October 14 2010 9:00am - 11:00am Location: Grad Campus
Presenter: Valerie Craigwell White, Ombudsperson
Put a few people in a room, add different ideas, styles, and time pressure. What do you get sometimes? Conflict. Join us to learn how to apply some basic principles, and approaches to managing conflict. Part of learning to work better with conflict is to know more about your own conflict style. To help with that, you’ll also get to complete a well-known conflict assessment in class. (Note: you won’t have to tell anyone what it says).
