Registration for Faculty Technology Institute Opens

Please join us this May for a fun filled week dedicated to exploring technology you can use. The Institute includes over 30 workshops designed to meet a variety of interests and levels of expertise.  Already scheduled workshops include a full Moodle track with sessions for beginners as well as experienced Moodlers, a full slate of workshops designed to support student multimedia assignments and web-based collaboration, as well as workshops on the tech you and your students use every day such as PowerPoint, Thunderbird and Webdisk.  After the day’s workshops, IT Consultants are available for individual consultations to answer your tech questions or assist with projects. The Institute is May 17 - 21, 2010 runs from 9 a.m - 2:00 p.m. and continental breakfast and lunch are provided daily. Morning workshops include hands-on instruction and discussion of best practices and effective teaching techniques.  After lunch we invite the entire campus to attend a general afternoon showcase session.
