Gladys, An American Story: 1934-46, written as a series of personal letters, tells the story of a young woman living, studying, and helping America rebuild its resilience during the New Deal era. Join us at the Bookstore on June 17th from 12 - 1pm to hear the author, our very own Mary Brooks from the Academic English Studies Department, discuss and answer questions about the book. Coffee, cookies and great conversation will be provided.
