Natural Resources Law Institute’s Distinguished International Visitor, German law professor Dr. Christian Calliess, will launch the Institute’s vibrant 40th academic year with a view from Europe.   Dr. Calliess will speak on “European Law: Values and Constitutional Principles of the European Union” on Tuesday, September 14, at noon.  This event is cosponsored by the Natural Resources Law Institute and the International Law Society student group.  Dr. Calliess directs the Institute for Public Law at Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany, where he teaches public and European law, and is a highly-respected legal scholar. This event is free; please register your interest in attending so that we can provide enough seating for everyone.
