Grading in Moodle
Date: 9:00am - 10:15am PDT May 22, 2014
Moodle has many features that allow instructors to track students’ performance efficiently and provide private feedback to students. The numerous options can be overwhelming to those new to grading in Moodle. In this session, we’ll go through the steps of setting up a complete gradebook in Moodle. First, we’ll review setting up individual graded activities such as assignments and discussion forums which are always automatically added to the Moodle Gradebook. Next, we’ll customize the default gradebook in Moodle including choosing how grades are displayed to students, overall grade calculation methods, adding additional items, grouping and weighting grades, entering grades and feedback, and exporting grades for your permanent records.
