Sam Baraso, senior policy analyst at Multnomah County, will present on the history of the environmental justice movement, and how racial justice and environmental justice movements intersect in policy and practice. Why Race Matters Series: Anti-Black Racism on Campus, Incidents and Responses to White Supremacy

Come hear from current and former students about incidents of anti-Blackness on campus, subsequent responses, and assessments of what’s being done to confront white supremacy. Sponsored by NLG, BLSA, MLSA and OUTLaw. Lunch with vegan options!

Come enjoy drinks with the President of the Oregon Chapter of the National Bar Association (African-American Bar Association) Alysia Harris. There will also be other African American attorneys in attendance. Ms. Harris specifically would like students to attend to learn about more ways to support Lewis & Clark’s BLSA organization.
