Piano Master Classes

Professor Battersby will teach various Lewis & Clark pianists and chamber musicians in a public master lesson (eight different 30-minute master lessons). Audience members may come and go quietly as they please throughout the sessions.

Edmund Battersby, piano, has appeared all over the world as a recitalist, soloist and chamber musician with a wide variety of ensembles, including the Tokyo String Quartet, the American Chamber Players, and symphony orchestras throughout the Americas. As a recitalist, he has toured the US, Europe, Great Britain, Russia and Africa, and has appeared at such prestigious festivals as Mostly Mozart, the Bard Festival, and the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, as well as numerous festivals in France. Mr. Battersby is currently on the faculty of the Indiana University School of Music and records on Koch International.
