Johannah Sherrer Memorial Lecture
Date: September 23 2011 3:00pm Location: Albany - Smith Hall, Albany Quadrangle
Roger C. Schonfeld, director of research at ITHAKA, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the academic community take full advantage of rapidly advancing information and networking technologies, will offer the 2011 Johannah Sherrer Memorial Lecture. Schonfeld’s lecture, “Forward Thinking: Aligning Library Services with Faculty Needs,” will consider whether libraries can develop long-term strategies for changing their offerings to meet the future needs of faculty members, or whether they must focus on the here and now to manage change much more responsively.
The Johannah Sherrer Memorial Lecture was established in 1999 to honor the memory of the former director of Watzek Library. For further information, please see: http://library.lclark.edu/lib/sherrer.htm
