Please join us for a free webcast with Parker J. Palmer, a renowned educator, author, and activist. For thirty-five years, Palmer’s writing has been driven by the desire to contribute to meaningful conversations that lead to personal and social transformation. The webcast will include discussion related to his newest book, Healing the Heart of Democracy: The Courage to Create a Politics Worthy of the Human Spirit. The live webcast will bring together participants to explore civic values, share concerns about our current political climate, and imagine human-scale things you can do to help reweave the civic fabric in your community.

Palmer is the founder of the Center for Courage and Renewal, which oversees “Courage to Teach” and “Courage to Lead” programs for people in the serving professions, including education, medicine, ministry, law and philanthropy. He is author of The Courage to Teach and, most recently, Healing the Heart of Democracy: The Courage to Create a Politics Worthy of the Human Spirit.
