Did you come to law school because you believe in environmental justice? Do you want to explore the intersections between race, poverty, and the environment? Do you want to DO SOMETHING about issues that interest and concern you?
Come learn about the ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE ADVOCATES on Monday, September 19 at 12pm in Room 3. Delicious vegan-friendly lunch provided.
We are a student-led group that empowers students to advocate for and support - through direct action and the law - communities’ efforts toward environmental justice. Learn about our national, regional, and community development projects such as mountaintop removal mining, air toxics, food justice, transit equity, community livability and brownfields redevelopment. Get ideas about how we can empower you - and how you can make a difference!
