100 Projects for Peace Info Session 2
Date: November 29 2011 11:30am Location: J.R. Howard Hall
In its 6th year, 100 Projects for Peace is an invitation to undergraduates at Lewis & Clark to design grassroots projects that they will implement during the summer of 2012. Students attending American colleges and universities in the Davis United World College Scholars Program are invited to submit project proposals. The projects judged to be the most promising and do-able will be funded at $10,000 each. The objective is to encourage and support today’s motivated youth to create and try out their own ideas for building peace.
The program is open to all L&C undergraduates (including graduating seniors), individuals or groups, and to all majors. Please be sure to attend either this information sessions or the first session on November 16th. These sessions will include an introduction to the 100 Projects for Peace program, and guidelines for writing and submitting a proposal for 2012.
Proposal: 2 pages + budget page
Deadline: Friday, January 27, 2012
