We are accepting names for the wait list . Writing chapters from one's life story can produce gifts for family\, and an important record of community life. In this workshop\, we will rea d short passages from a variety of voices reflecting on lessons learned f rom life encounters. We will use these passages as prompts for our own wr iting\, leading to a gathering of short life chapters for further reflect ion and revision over time. No experience necessary\, but a willing heart . This class explores autobiography\, biography\, and life history\, and the ways that individual lives are linked to broader cultural stories. U sing the lenses of literature\, folklore\, personal story\, and writing g enerated in class\, participants examine how life stories emerge in famil ies\, with individuals\, and in the workplace.
