The Discovering Our Story Project w as produced by Wisdom of the Elders\, Inc.\, to resolve five outcomes. On e increases the skills of therapists serving Native American clients and four relate directly to mental health\, addictions\, domestic violence\, and diabetes issues that recent research has revealed as co-occurring wit hin our local Native community. This project was developed so Native Ame ricans can improve and maintain their mental health\, overcome cycles of addiction and domestic violence\, and successfully manage Type 2 Diabetes .
