Known Issues and LiveWhale Status

Here is a list of known issues and a live status feed.

Known Issues

  • Some News Stories Produce Server “500” Error

    Some departments and offices have experienced an issue in which a user clicks on a news story and gets a “SERVER ERROR” page instead of the story. This can be fixed by a member of New Media rebuilding your /news/ folder. It is a quick fix, but one that is just group-by-group. We are therefore working with White Whale on a site-wide fix.

  • Maps

    Maps: Some issues remain with the new LiveWhale Places module and how it interacts with a maps widget and the Google API. Some maps may not display correctly.

  • Anchor Tags

    Anchor Tags: Currently, anchor tags need to be “nested” within an HTML tag to work. This may be due to TinyMCE. We are working on a solution with WhiteWhale. Not this: <a name=”anchor”></a><h4>Title</h4>. But this: <h4><a name=”anchor”></a>Title</h4>

  • Comments don’t display when activated

    Comments don’t display on the public facing site when activated within a News or Events story. All comments have been switched off purposefully because of an issue with spam. We will reactivate them once we have a spam filtering system in place.
